Back Homepage Information citation

Chef_CrazyHorse1.JPG Crazy Horse was a great leader of the rebellion against the American settlers and led many attacks for freedom. In his struggle, he defeated many well-known American generals and joined forces with other tribes like the Cheyenne and the Sioux. Crazy Horse was best known for his determination to fight and his will to preserve the culture and traditions of the Lakota Indian way of life. Throughout the winter of 1876-77 Crazy Horse and other Indian Chiefs like Sitting Bull and Little Bighorn were harassed by General Nelson Miles and were eventually forced to surrender.
